Worth Home Products makes a product called the Instant Pendant Light that allows the do-it-yourselfer to refrain from calling an electrician. In fact they say it’s as easy as changing a light bulb. Unscrew the old lightbulb from the recessed can, screw in the pendant light adapter, which also has a coil that allows you to adjust the length of the pendant, slide on the cover plate, and turn it on… Easy, right? Can be found for around $50 at Lowes.
