Spectra decor, is one of our favorite companies for cabinet hardware and rightfully so given their approach to design and now with the integration of environmentally friendly materials. They recently announced the launch of their FUSION2 collection, featuring recycled aluminum and other eco minded materials. The recycled aluminum knobs, pulls and handles were formerly things like window frames and hubcaps and inlaid with cork and eco-resin (www.3-form.com) accents. “FUSION2 is beautiful and ultra eco-chic with its intriquing forms and wide range of inlay styles, ranging from rich, leather-like cork to brilliant colors and dazzling metallics,” says Leilani Norman-Young, founder and designer of Spectra Decor. These ingenious new, green products will be unveiled at the May 2007, International Contemporary Furniture Fair at New York City’s Javits Convention Center.
