Depending on your age and occupation, your may say “Aah, September” with a sigh of relief or a more dreaded, “Ugh, September.” Either way, September brings about reorganization, renewal and a feeling of new beginnings. People begin to say goodbye to the careless ways of summer and look towards a more practical way of life whether in terms of work, school or home. We have highlighted a couple of modern design and decorating trends that have been brewing all summer and are opportune to make their way into home interiors this Fall.


East meets west. Designs from India, Turkey, and Morroco have taken over the tony shops of Easthampton and other hot spots with a flourish. We are seeing Turkish and Morrocan styled pillows and accessories in bright colors with fringe and beads galore.
